COMMUNITY/CIVIC INVOLVEMENT

  • Served for more than five years on the Executive Board of Lawyers for Kids (formerly known as, “Heritage House”), an organization dedicated to providing a safe environment for high conflict families to exchange custody of their children
  • Inspired by a former client’s son’s struggles with Cystic Fibrosis and a passion to find a cure, Tricia participates in Xtreme hikes to raise money for the Gateway Chapter of CF. She hiked more than 30 miles in one day in the Ozark Mountain Range in the Fall of 2015 and is challenging herself again with another hike (15 miles) in Hawn State Park this Spring. Why does she hike? Because she can and so many afflicted with CF cannot. With the money raised, she is hoping those who cannot walk now have a chance to reach those heights in the future. Cystic fibrosis is a life-threatening genetic disease that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. There is no cure. The average life expectancy for someone with CF is between 42- 50 years of age.
